I am a credential authority. How do I create and issue certificates?

First Register as an issuer. (Be sure to include information that can be used to verify your identity.)
Then Certificates. (You'll need to know the EOS (Jungle) account name of the recipient.)


I have a certificate. How do I show it to people?

Log in and see your certificates listed on the Home Page. Click on the certificate of your choice.
Pro tip: If you know your account name and certificate id, you can also go to

I am reviewing a certificate, how do I ensure it's real?

Stay tuned for our blue-badge system for stronger verification.
In the mean time, look at the "Issuer". An institution should disclose their "Issuer" identity on their website or social media to confirm it is theirs.


Are certificates public?

Yes. For private or sensitive data, we suggest issuers only put URL in their certificates, and keep the data off chain and control access. You can use the certificate can send people to a portal through which they identify themselves and request access from you.
